Asturias is the second region in terms of foreign investment growth

It is the fourth autonomous community with the greatest capture of foreign resources after Madrid, Catalonia and Navarre. | Arcelor Mittal provided 96% of the investment volume during the first half of the year.

The Sydney metro is only manufactured in Asturias

Arcelor is set to start manufacturing the pieces in summer 2017, compared to the 90-metre pieces it is currently producing. This situation will make the Gijon-based factory “unique” within the company, and will enable the facilities to become some of the best in the world.
