The multinational Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), with headquarters in Asturias, has just announced the expansion of its staff base with fifty new jobs, helping it to further secure the company’s position on the international market, with the incorporation of profiles related to computing and industrial engineering, physicists and people with technical expertise and a good level of English or German.
The person in charge of making this announcement was the managing director of CSC Spain, Daniel Salas, following a visit to get to know the company’s facilities in Asturias by the vice-president and managing director of CSC for southern Europe, Pierre Bruno, and the southwest European manager of the public sector, Philippe Jeken, which took place on 15th September.

The incorporation of new profiles is the result of the latest expansion both within and outside the region. The company has headquarters based in Asturias, though it is also present in other cities, including Madrid and Barcelona. The company work focuses on information technologies and it has been declared a global leader in providing technology enabled business solutions and services.
One of the solutions it has developed is the Java technology application for the Principality of Asturias, which enables civil servant appraisals, and a record management platform for Cepsa, among other aspects.
