The Belgian multinational Merkator completed this week the move to its new offices in the Centro Elena business centre, located in the Technology Park of Asturias (in Llanera).
Merkator was set up in our region in 2018 with the support of the Economic Development Agency of the Principality of Asturias (IDEPA), an entity under the Regional Ministry of Employment, Industry and Tourism, through the Invest in Asturias programme.
The Belgian company continues its commitment to attracting talent to our region. It currently employs ten people and has plans for growth in the coming months.
During the inauguration of Merkator’s new offices, the Regional Minister of Science, Innovation and University of the Government of Asturias, Borja Sánchez, highlighted the strength of the data engineering sector and its high employability in Asturias.
